Who We Are

Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotaract is changing communities like yours.

Rotaract Club of Ulhasnagar was founded in 1988. The club was chartered under the Charter President Mr. Lalit Manik with a team of 43 members. Their mission was to help develop the youth of the community. Keeping in mind their mission, Rotaractors planned several projects where young people could develop their personalities through community service. The major projects they did for the community included visits to old age homes, spending time with special children. Rotaract Club was also known for organizing Youth Talent Competiton at inter-school and college levels. The former Rotaractors even today continue to be a great help to society

After a slow down in the club's functioning, the club was revived in December 2020. The Rotaract Club of Ulhasnagar focuses on the development of young people while engaging them in community services. Rotaract Club of Ulhasnagar is a safe place where we welcome all youngsters to come forward and help themselves while also actively helping those in need. The club's mission is to give the youth an opportunity to serve society, develop leadership skills, create acultural awareness while networking.

WEVOLE- Learn, Improve, Serve
Rotaract Club of Ulhasnagar chartered in 1988,since then has been on a mission to provide a platform to enthusiastic youth to indulge in self-development activities through community service. Although times change one thing that remains constant is the youth and their enthusiasm towards working for others. Although this year started on a mission to revive the club, after almost successfully reviving the club, we now have moved on to further goals. The theme of the year is WeVolve- learn, improve, serve. WeVolve, short for We Evolve explains how the club will be providing a platform to the youth to constantly keep on evolving through 3 steps. Since it's the revival year, we will be focusing on Learning and building a foundation. The next step would be to focus on one of the most important aspects of human lives which is Improve- mental health. One can only function well if they are fit both physically and mentally hence trying to normalize the stigma around mental health problems. Moving on to yet another aspect of human lives, Serve- serving those in need. We will be focusing on helping with the development of Women and Children and help build a better society. All this learning, improvement and service will help us evolve into better human beings while also building a better society everyone deserves to live in.
