To celebrate friendship day by bringing back the old tradition of tying friendship bands and having a dinner together. All the members were gathered at the venue at the given time. Members enjoyed the food and drink. All Members enjoyed the music and everyone participated in dancing. The members came on the dance floor where they were asked to Ramp walk. The winner for the best ramp Walk was announced. In order to exchange friendship games a small game was played where a person would describe a member and others had to guess.
Pयारी सी याRइ, a PR initiative where the club created a template and shared it across several social media platforms. Along with the template, a PR message including the instruction to participate in the trend was given. In the template, people added a picture with their friends, wrote a short message, and tagged our Instagram page along with two more people to continue the process. More than 20 actions were taken from the template story and reached more than 100 people. People started using the template on friendship day and soon started posting stories using the template.
To raise awareness about the negative impacts of plastic bags on the planet and human health. The club organised a rally starting from Ulhasnagar’s busiest location of Gol Maidan. The club protested against the use of plastic bags with slogans like, “प्लाटिक बैग को हटाना है, ये सबको समझाना है” (The plastic bag has to be removed, this has to be explained to everyone) and many more. Some plastic bags were replaced by cloth bags from vendors and locals.
With the first sports Project, full of positive feedbacks and people asking for more such events to be organized in the Future, Rotaract Club of Ulhasnagar came up with its first ever Joint Sports Project with Rotaract Club of Ulhasnagar Sapna Garden, Frizzling Fours - an Official Cricket Tournament.
In order to help Rotaractors and people learn, identify and understand the reason of Stress, our club along with Rotary Club Of Thane Green City organised an online seminar - “Gear Up”. The speaker, RTD CDR Girish Konkar, walked us through steps towards a life where we can live a life without stress.
Think India Tribal Rights Forum is an organization that has come up with an initiative of raising awareness about Tribal Rights in the form of Project Eklavya. Our Club collaborated with Think India Tribal rights Forum for this project in order to understand more about the lives of Tribal people.
The Rotary Club President welcomed everyone. The President of the Inner wheel club explained the importance of planting trees and the motive behind this initiative. Several people who worked there helped us dig the ground and plant the saplings. 20 plants were planted which included Mango, Jamun, Jackfruit, and Babul. At last, Rotaract President Akanksha Manik gave a speech about the Increase in Pollution and also a few words to encourage youth to plant trees
Some heroes wear capes, some drive fancy cars, some carry superpowers. But in the past two years, another group of Heroes came up and took it on them to save the world, Heroes with a white coat. Our heroes, Doctors who were the frontline warriors in our battle against Covid -19, fought very hard to save human lives. In order to express our gratitude towards them on behalf of everyone, the Club decided to organize a Felicitation program along with Rotary Club Of Ulhasnagar to thank them.
