Friexiety

The coronavirus outbreak has not only affected our economic conditions but also our mental health. Separation from loved ones, loss of freedom, boredom, and uncertainty can cause a deterioration in an individual's mental health status. In order to create a safe space for our members to share their problems without the fear of being judged, our club conducted a Mental Health Awareness session. The session was conducted by Mr Anuj Yadav, a clinical psychologist and a mental health campaigner.

Food Drive

In March 2020, the world was hit by a pandemic. People's life took an unexpected turn. With malls, supermarkets, offices, public transport shut people closed themselves indoors in the comfort of their homes. But the lockdown kept on extending leaving daily wagers with no means of earning. In this period of crisis, Rotaractors provided home-cooked meals to those in need. We have successfully conducted 2 food drives and distributed over 400 home-cooked meals in areas around Ulhasnagar, Ambernath, and Badlapur. We at Rotaract Club of Ulhasnagar believe that hunger is something no one should struggle with, so we made sure of it.
